This little bird
inside my head
whistles
This little bird comes out
at the most troubled of times
and still sings her songs
and I start feeling better
No one's ever been able to take
the bird away
no one knows about her
she doesn't have a name
she doesn't care
but she still whistles
brightening my day
making me feel like i have
my own little sanity
She doesn't care if I am crazy
or sane
happy or sad
I'm not sure if she has a
conscience and I frankly don't
care
She is just there...
Whistling, singing, wanting
more songs to hear
so she can whistle more.
